Rocket & The Ghost is kicking out the jams just in time for summer. For the band's second release of the month, they have partnered with All Things Go to exclusively release their new track, “Albuquerque” today, here: Albuquerque is part power ballad, part folk, part rock n' roll, and completely incredible.

The band recently premiered their song “Come In From The Outside” with Baeble Music, and will be releasing an A-side/B-side single on May 12th, 2015 via Better Problems.

Lead singer, Kiyoshi Matsuyama speaks on “Albuquerque” saying, "Albuquerque is a heart-wrencher. I get emotional on stage every time I sing it. It’s also one of those songs that came together very quickly. We were kicking around ideas in rehearsal and I played it for the band. As we played through it with drums and synths and guitars we realized that it didn’t need a ton of work done to it. Usual Rocket & The Ghost protocol is a song gets reworked, torn apart and re-written many times over, but this felt powerful right out of the gate.  It kind of wrote itself. During the recording sessions in Brooklyn this song really started taking on a life of its own. One cool thing was we had a choir of friends come in to sing harmonies on the choruses.”
